My friend and I are always giving each other suggestions of what tv show to watch next. We were hanging out one day and she brought up the show Supernatural. I saw it on Netflix a couple times before but I never bothered to actually watch it. The main characters were cute and it looked interesting but I never expected to be into it as much as I am. From the moment this adorable human being said, “Dad’s on a hunting trip and hasn’t been home in a few days” I was hooked. I have come to the conclusion that I am obsessed with the show. There are many ways in which Supernatural has taken over my life and here are just a few.

1. Jensen Ackles. Jared Padalecki. Misha Collins.

You are mentally dating at least one of the three and you tell your friends that you’re dating even though they are all married with kids.

2. You no longer have a social life.

You would rather stay in and watch Supernatural than go out. And you probably watch two or three episodes in a row because once you start watching you have to know what happens next.

3. You’ve probably sent messages to your friends about the show without even realizing it.

What are you up to today? Saving people, hunting things, the family business, you know.

4. 99% of the pictures on your phone are of Supernatural.

5. You told your parents you are saving up for your own ’67 Chevy Impala.

You have no shame.

6. You started calling your friends by nicknames.

Moose, Squirrel, Idjits...

7. You are mentally unstable for days.

Even though the characters die and come back so many times, each death takes a toll on you.

8. You've probably joined every single fan group you could find on Facebook.

You want to talk about Supernatural with people who are just as excited as you are.

9. Merchandise.

You own phone cases, posters, t-shirts, sweatshirts, the necklace Sam gives Dean, bracelets, laptop stickers, books, bags, shoes, and just about everything else Supernatural.

10. When the lights flicker or you hear a noise you automatically assume there is a demon in your presence.

You yell “Get the salt! Where’s the holy water and iron?”

11. Wednesdays.

Wednesdays are your go to and when the show isn't on for the week you eat pie and cry until it comes on again.

12. You are saving up to go to a comic con so you can tell the cast how much you love them.
