In the famed and beloved "The Chronicles of Narnia" series, most of the Pevensie kids get a lot of attention. Lucy for being the bravest and most courageous despite her age and being a girl, Edmund for his initial betrayal and eventual character development, and of course, Peter for being the oldest, the head of the Pevensie gang, and the leader of Aslan's army. But one Pevensie is often forgotten: Susan. Here's some reasons why Susan is the most underrated, but perhaps greatest Pevensie.

1. She loves books and word games

In the first movie, the gang has just escaped the war and arrived at the professor's house. Susan is shown playing some sort of word game that everyone else finds boring. As a lover of books and words, this is one of the first things that made me realize how great Susan is.

2. She is driven by logic

She thinks with rationale. When Lucy is talking about Narnia, Susan insists against its existence.

3. She takes on the role of a mother

When the 4 are forced to leave their mother, Peter takes the leadership role, but so does Susan. She always gives her siblings helpful reminders, scolds them if needed, and takes control when the situation demands.

4. She's rational

Sometimes it seems she's the only one doing any thinking.

5. She always tries to do what is right

Her logic leads her to morality.

6. She is always "trying to be smart" according to Peter

Peter may have meant this negatively, but what's wrong with having brains?

7. She's always there to administer a dose of reality

8. She carries the burdens of of others

When Peter tried to say it was his fault that Edmund went astray, Susan insisted it was because of all of them, not just Peter.

9. She can be cynical, boring, and too realistic, but she recognizes her faults

She apologizes to Lucy for the way she is and always tries to improve herself.

10. She's such a good sister to Lucy

Lucy is still so young when they're in Narnia, and Susan makes sure she's taken care of. Perhaps it's because of Susan Lucy can be so brave.

11. She's as good with a bow as Katniss

Just watch the battle scene in The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe.

12. She is Queen Susan, The Gentle

Magnificent, just, and valiant are all honorable things to be, but it takes a lot, and a special person to simply be gentle.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
