Twigs originally was a dancer, and transcended into the singing career. She is a rising new artist with music you've never even came close to experiencing. Since dancing will always be a passion for her, the sound she has compliments modern day hip hop dancers. It also compliments her beautiful light voice. Her last album M3LL155X is nominated for the Video Music award categories of Best choreography, and Best visual effects.


2. SZA

A young artist, who was featured in Rihanna's last album Anti. The song she was featured in is called Consideration. Clearly Rihanna saw that this talented artist lyrics will leave you thinking about life. She's also been featured in one of popular artist Wale's song. It's called Need to Know.

3. SOHN

If you're not prepared to be in your feelings, don't listen to SOHN. He has very deep, thoughtful music that also makes it hard to sit still.

4. Troye Sivan

Troye Sivan was originally a YouTuber, who came out as gay. He transitioned from YouTube into the music industry, and it has been nothing but a success. His album Blue Neighborhood Trilogy is nominated for the VMA category of Breakthrough Long Form Video.

Lady Leshurr is a Jamaican and English rapper, who specializes in diss tracks. The year of 2015 she released a series of songs called Queen Speech 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. In these she called out everybody, and their momma.

Galantis specializes in EDM. So if you're in the mood to dance like nobody's watching, listening to Galantis is the wisest choice to complete that action.

12. Serayah McNeill

If you watch Empire than you should already know that Serayah (Tiana) has the best songs on the show. Though Jussie Smollet is a very close second. Her songs are catchy, and danceable. They can also make you feel like a confident diva.
