Sometimes we all need a movie or two to give us a good cry. Not because we're sad or emotionally damaged or are hopelessly in love, but just because crying is healthy. And every now and again we need a little letting the water gate down. These movies are some never fail to disappoint films, so grab some tissues and let's get started.

1. A Walk To Remember

We're not starting off easy here. High school fling movies can get a little old once you've been there and done that. But this movie is will never get old and honestly, who's high school life is actually like this? No ones, so we never get sick of watching it again.

2. You're Not You

Perhaps one of the best underrated make you cry movies ever. This movie doesn't bring out the few tears running down your cheeks, this is a whole box of tissues, watch by yourself because you're going to ugly cry the entire time type of movie.

3. Me Before You

If you were one of the many people who went to see this in the theater and then sprint out of the movie to your car so no one saw your puffy red face, It's ok, we all did. This is another one you might want to watch by yourself but regardless of it's ability to make you sob, it's a brilliant film.

4. About Time

Don't let the sound of the corny story line deter you from watching this movie. It sounds like a bad time traveling movie but is actually really touching. And something about Rachel McAdam romance movies just automatically makes you reach for the tissues.

5. The Notebook

Speaking of Rachel McAdams, this is a classic. No matter how many you've seem it, it's always a go to. It's just as good the first time as it is the hundredth when you can mouth the words along with the actors.

6. The Last Song

Pre-crazy Miley Cyrus, is the great film that made Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus a couple. Although they look wonderful together, sometimes it's not the relationship between the couple that makes you cry but rather the family. This is a subtle cry to watch with a friend, or alone if that's what you're cry session is calling for.

7. Remember Me

Not the most popular movie, and not one to cause you to cry the whole way through but it kind of hits you like a brick wall.

8. The Fault in Our Stars

There are no movies about cancer that won't make you shed a tear or two. Or in this movies case, maybe enough crying and tissues to last you for the entire month. At the end you'll have fallen in love with the name Hazel and boys who don't smoke cigarettes.

9. P.S. I Love You

Well we love you too, Gerard Butler. This one is a healthy mixture of crying but laughing through the tears.

10. 10 Things I Hate About You

Not the most notably cry worthy movie but the poem at the end gets you every time. And if you haven't watched the movie recently, it's definitely worth the revisit.

11. Charlie St. Cloud

Zac Efron is more notably known by his more hilarious roles in current films or his slightly older breakthrough in all of our personal favorites, High School Musical. But in between these two great clusters of movies are a couple ones that he stared in that will, of course, make you cry.

12. Titanic

And last but certainly not least, is the classic. You can't go wrong with the Titanic. This movie is guaranteed to make you cry no matter how many times you've seen it.
