OK, so I've adapted this new mindset into my daily lifestyle that I'm going to be Blair Waldorf. Or not going to be Blair Waldorf, or living Blair's life. Basically, just be a queen and go after WHAT YOU WANT.
Oh, and also stay away from those fuckboys.
1. "Once men have tasted caviar, it baffles me how they settle for catfish."
Honestly, this is my favorite Blair Waldorf quote. When a guy breaks your heart and starts dating someone else, I'm like...why. "I'm so much prettier than her," not to be vain or anything. It's fine. It's not like I'm bitter. Just kinda...baffled that they would settle for catfish when they had caviar. *insert hair flip emoji here*
2. "Destiny is for lovers. It's just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen."
I mean you can't just sit there and expect things to happen. Those things only happen in movies sometimes. What I love about Blair Waldorf is she made things happen for herself. She was a spoiled little rich girl on the Upper East Side and then she made a name for herself with her mother's fashion company and worked hard to pull it off.
Yes, everyone has their own fate and destiny, but you will only be successful if you work for it.
3. "Have a little faith, and if that doesn't work, have a lot of mimosas."

Brunch, anyone?? To be successful, you have to have faith in everything you do. And have some mimosas while you're at it.

Chuck Bass is literally the most annoying hot guy EVER and Blair Waldorf dealt with his irritating ass and him struggling with his feelings. I don't know about you, but I would be pissed if I had to deal with a guy struggling to say three words, eight simple letters. Chuck is one of those guys that get you in the feels and keep you in the feels like it's an endless maze.
5. "Things are never as bad as you think."
No matter where you are at in life, if you've hit rock bottom, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. And reminder: it's not as bad as you think.

THIS. You don't need no man to be happy. Date yourself. Because you're enough for you. Take yourself out on a date. Buy yourself expensive things. Buy yourself a ring if you're that extra. You don't need a boyfriend to do all those things. You don't even need to date, just be happy and single. Your life is better already.
7. "Nothing's holding me back anymore. I know what I want, and I'm gonna get it."
YOU GO, GLEN COCO. I know college students don't have it all together or have no idea what they want. Well, you came to college. This is where you find out what you want. Find out what you want, what you need in life, and GO. GET. IT. Go after your dreams. Write your dreams down and accomplish it. Because if you refer to #6, if you don't have an annoying Chuck Bass to worry about, then you can accomplish anything. Even if you do, you can still accomplish anything if you're in the Blair Waldorf mindset.
8. "If you really want something you don't stop for anyone or anything until you get it."
Similar to the last one, you're going to rule the world. Don't let anything stand in your path to greatness. Sure, some things will try to cross your path, but you just gotta push through and keep the destination at the front of your mind.

OK, maybe not make people fear you, but I think the first part is good. Not everyone is going to like you. And that's completely okay. Not everyone is going to be satisfied. Everyone's a critic.

For all the girls who have been burned by fuckboys in the past and currently, you need to hear this quote. Don't settle for a guy who treats you like his shit, like he can flush you down whenever he's done with you. You are a queen just like Blair Waldorf who doesn't stop until you get what you want. Work for what YOU want and trust me, you do not want to be messing with fuckboys.
