12 Best Bible Verses

The Word of God is very important, and one verse is just as important and valuable as another. Here are a few of my favorite.

1. John 3:16

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

2. John 3:30

"He must increase; I must decrease."

3. John 14:6

"Jesus answered: 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

4. Matthew 28: 19-20

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

5. Deuteronomy 7:9

"Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God,keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments. "

6. Psalm 145: 18-19

"The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. "

7. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres"

8. John 8: 31-32

"So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

9. Galatians 5: 22-23

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."

10. Romans 8:28

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. "

11. Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[a] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. "

12. Philippians 4:13

"I can do all things through him who strengthens me."
