Shawn Spencer and Burton Guster are two of the best friends to ever exist on television. The crime fighting duo exists on the show "Psych," which was taken from us far too soon. Before the series ended in 2014, these two provided the world with the definition of #friendshipgoals.

1. When you make a new friend and you know that you're going to get super close super quickly.


2. You and your best friend are truly two halves of a whole.


3. You're always on the same wavelength about everything.



4. ...especially food.


5. When you're trying to convince your best friend to go on an adventure with you:


6. When your friend just finished the show they've binge-watching on Netflix or they found out the guy they've been playing the long game with has a girlfriend.


7. Having a dance party is always acceptable, mandatory, even, when you're with your best friend.


8. Your best friend knows how to keep you in check.


9. They can be brutally honest with you.


10. You and your best friend don't have time for people who don't understand the two of you together.


11. But above all, you know that nothing will tear your friendship apart and that you're both in it for the long run.
