Are you a hopeless romantic in need of a movie break? As a fanatic of chick-flicks and comedies I too know the struggle of finding the perfect movie. Here are some of my favorite underrated love stories and their trailers (in no particular order):
1. "A Walk In The Clouds"
A young soldier who sells chocolate for a living meets a woman who is scared to come home pregnant with no husband. They make a plan to fake an engagement that he will soon abandon. In the end, there is no such thing as fake love.
2. "Love Actually"
Do you enjoy love triangles? Try a love-octagon! With this movie you'll experience the ultimate Christmas love story in about eight different pieces!
3. "Bridget Jones' Diary" (1 & 2)
Is Bridget Jones too old for love? Age is but a number in this romantic film about her choice between an awkward but loving boyfriend and a sexy but player lover.
4. "Pride And Prejudice" (2005)
A bond that forms over a common love for literature. It was known that Mr. Darcy had everything but marriage on his mind, until he met a beautiful independent scholar.
5. "Can't Buy Me Love" (1987)
A goofy '80s movie about a boy who-could-never-be-cool's transformation into the biggest talk of the school. After "renting" the popular girl to be his girlfriend by lending her money to save her from trouble, the amount of time spent together grew into young love.
6. "Flipped"
From childhood Juli Baker had always loved Bryce Loski, but after his mistake of showing her he wasn't interested, the tables turn.
7. "Stuck In Love"
Watch a divorced family of writers overcome obstacles and fall in love in three separate stories.
8. "Love, Rosie"
Childhood friends grow up shy in love, but when the mutual feelings aren't shared they head down two very separate paths. Run a mile with your emotions by watching these two fall in and out of love over and over.
9. "Serendipity"
Two people meet and it's love at first sight. Watch these two confused fiancees test their love by placing it in the hands of fate.
10. "A Little Bit of Heaven"
When a woman was granted three wishes, she didn't realize they would ever come true. When being diagnosed with colon cancer, Marley Corbett falls in love with her doctor and her soul is liberated.
11. "Maid in Manhattan"
A classic Cinderella story starring Jennifer Lopez, who plays a maid in a Manhattan Hotel. A wealthy guest falls for her charm, but without the knowledge of her occupation and lifestyle. Will they ever be a match?
