If you were alive in the late 90's, then chances are you’ve probably seen "The Parent Trap" at some point in your life. For a lot of people, it is just a cheesy movie with two Lindsey Lohans about a semi-predictable love story. To others, it’s a classic movie involving long-lost twins plotting to reunite their family (though I will admit that it is cheesy either way). We all have those movies that inevitably become our favorites by worming their way into our lives. If "The Parent Trap" is one of those movies for you, then here are a few things that you know are true.
1. You find yourself integrating quotes from the movie into your everyday life.

Even though your use of quotes usually goes unnoticed and are unappreciated.
2. The name Meredith has been ruined for you.
You can’t even say the name without cringing.
3. No one else understands why you chuckle every time you see an Evian bottle at the grocery store.
You still laugh every time that scene comes on.
4. You have mastered the handshake.

5. You know that the true way to eat Oreo’s is with peanut butter.

6. Martin turns out to be one of your favorite characters.
Besides having excellent advice and one-liners, he and Chessy are so cute together.
7. Even though they are played by the same actress, you have a favorite twin.
And you have plenty of examples as to why your favorite is superior.
8. You feel confident enough to pierce your own ears.
Or your friend's, or siblings, or anyone else that you may know.
9. Despite mounting evidence to the contrary, there's a small part of you that still hopes that Lindsey Lohan really does have a twin.
And you're still hoping to find yours someday.
10. You’re convinced that if your parents would have sent to summer camp, then you also would have met your long-lost twin (even if your parents aren’t divorced.)
I mean, surely this kind of thing happens all the time, right?
11. Even though you know it's a pretty cheesy movie, you can't help yourself from watching it every time it comes on.
You gotta love it.
