Over the course of the last couple of days, the news has been exceptionally morbid. With the murder of Christina Grimmie, the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub and the boy killed by an alligator on Disney property, there has been a huge cloud of darkness. In times like these, it is important to remember that there is light in the world. One of the brightest things to bring joy to others is puppies. Hopefully these puppies can remind us all that there are good things in life.
1. They run around in costumes.
Life can't be so bad when there are wiener dogs running in a field while wearing hot dogs costumes. They are so free and happy.
2. They have floppy ears.
Check out this little guy living out his dream of being in "Aladdin." I'd love for him to show me the world.
3. They're small enough to fit in bowls.
I'll never understand how so much cute can be in such a dense ball of fluff. But I don't think humans were ever meant to understand.
4. They have a hard time eating.
This puppy is my spirit animal. So much enthusiasm trying to get all the food from the bowl.
5. They bark at anything and everything.
It's never too early to celebrate Halloween, especially when it's so adorable. You go little buddy, tell that pumpkin who's in charge here.
6. They're cute when confused.
I'm not too sure what this bunch was turning their heads for, but I'm sure it was very confusing.
7. They can do cool tricks.

8. They just want to be with you.
This puppy just wants to be with their owner on top of the half pipe. Poor pup doesn't know he needs a running start, but he'll figure it out.
9. They get caught having too many treats.
Oh, no, someone was caught having too many treats when they weren't supposed to. But I think we can let it slide this time.
10. They sometimes act human.
Nothing is better than when puppies act like humans. Hopefully you like the Animal Planet.
11. They do the Running Man.

In the wake of a rough week of tragedies, it is important to find things that make you happy. I know these GIFs of puppies won't take away the pain and suffering of those who were affected by the events from the past week, but hopefully, it gives people a reason to smile.
