Food is something that controls many people's lives. You eat to survive, you eat for special occasions, you eat because you are bored, and, you eat because you eat. Many people have a love-hate relationship with food; and when it is a "hate" relationship you may catch yourself saying, "my diet starts tomorrow..." in some of these incidences.
1. After your birthday.
"What should we get for her birthday?" "Food is easy, I think we should just do that," said by everyone who got you a birthday gift. You might as well just get me a gym membership while you're at it.
2. After your best friend's birthday.
Your best friend got you food for your birthday, so you had to return the favor, and by that I mean eating the rest of the cake that you got her.
3. After your best friend's best friend's birthday.
If your best friend's best friend is celebrating her birthday, why not join and get a slice of cake while you're at it?
4. After you stress eat.
When finals week comes around or you just have a busy week and the only thing that makes you is well, you guessed it, eating.
5. After a holiday weekend.
When you go home for a holiday weekend and the food is too good to stop eating.
6. After you order late night food.
You and your friends are at that point when you just don't care, so somebody better be calling for Pokey Sticks, but remembering what you ate the next day is unfortunate.
7. After you celebrate an accomplishment.
Rewarding yourself with food and that food being very high in calories.
8. After you eat while you're upset.
Food will always be there for you when you are upset, but what you eat can also make you upset.
9. After you hear you are going on a tropical vacation.
Dad calls, "we are thinking Aruba for winter break!" I am thinking no more pizza or cookies for the next three months!
10. After you realize you are in a relationship with food.
Food > everything.
11. After you eat because you eat.
Nothing is better.
