I jumped onto the Harry Potter bandwagon a lot later than most people. I did not start reading the books or watching the movies until about the 8th grade, when I instantly became obsessed. With that being said, I was very excited when ABC Family (aka Freeform) had their Harry Potter marathon over Christmas break. With the daily struggles of college, I had forgotten how wonderful Harry Potter was and just how much we can relate to it. So let's take a trip down memory lane, through Platform 9 3/4, onto the Hogwarts Express, and into the halls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

1. You are totally not in the mood for hugs.

2. You begin to dose off in class and then your professor calls on you.

3. You have not had a home cooked meal in ages.

4. Life is too hard and you feel like you ran into a wall.

5. You try to flirt, but it doesn't work.

6. You realize that you need to be a real adult soon.

7. You're excited when your jam comes on.

8. You are, somehow, actually on time to meet your friends.

9. You've passed that test that you thought that you failed.

10. You finish a big paper and then your professor assigns another one.

11. Sometimes, you just need to let out your true feelings.

How I wish, like so many other young people, that I had received my letter to join Harry and the gang at Hogwarts. I imagine that it was a pretty awesome experience and it was probably a lot more interesting than college. I guess that us Muggles can also relate to our favorite wizard friends every now and again, though.

Bruce Springsteen's Top 7 Lyrics

Everything Bruce says in his classic rock songs.

20012
bruce springsteen album cover born in the usa

Anyone who was born and raised in New Jersey (or anywhere really) knows of Bruce Springsteen, whether or not they like him is a whole other situation. I hope that his hundreds of classic rock songs and famous high energy performances, even in his sixties he can put on better concerts than people half his age, are at least recognizable to people of all ages. Love him or hate him (I identify with the former) you have to admit that some of his songs and interviews have inspirational quotes and lyrics.

New England Summers Are The BEST Summers

Why you should spend your next summer in New England.

3643
Marconi Beach

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.
