Abby Lee Miller from Dance Moms may be inappropriate, rude, and aggressive, but you have to respect her spunk. Her blunt personality has lead her to say some pretty insane things. Many times, I find myself wanting to shout something out in a similar fashion, but, for the most part, I have established a filter that allows me to behave appropriately in public. Abby, on the other hand, has no shame saying exactly what is on her mind. Here are 12 instances when she pretty much sums up my thoughts.
1. When it's the very last midterm or exam of the semester.
I have been up all night, I cannot see straight, let alone write on the correct answer line, and I just want this test completed as soon as humanly possible.
2. When your friends say they are too tired to go out.
Too tired? If you can pull three all-nighters in a row to study, you can go out for a few hours to have some fun.
3. When a professor writes "Give more detail" on a test or paper.
I have given you every fact, statistic, date, and example possible, as well as filled up every line you have provided on the test, so it's not like you don't get the point. Anything else I put down will be unnecessary, and more than likely made up.
4. When you find out there is going to be a group project in the class.
I do not want to be the one to take charge. I simply want everyone to be on the same page and pull their own weight so I don't have to do extra work.
5. When a teacher doesn't give back assignments, so you have no idea what grade you have in the class.
I at least need to know if I'm passing, though it would also be nice to get back assignments that can help me study for the test.
6. When a classmate reminds the professor that they haven't given us homework.
If you really want something to do, Google "fun activities." There is no need to clutter my planner with homework that can be avoided.
7. When you are trying to leave to go out, but your friend insists on taking the exact same picture 50 more times.
You look the same in every picture, I will help you fix the filter on it later.
8. When you are the designated driver, and someone is too drunk.
I don't care if you're drunk, but you are definitely going to care in the morning.
9. When someone gets emotional in front of me.
I am not the person you call when you need to cry it out. I will probably just tell an awkward joke and walk away, but this is most likely what I am thinking.
10. When someone tells me the ending of the show I have been faithfully binge-watching.
No, I did not get to that part yet, and now I apparently do not need to.
11. When someone tells me their problems are unfixable and they won't survive.
Regardless of the issue, it cannot be as bad as you think. Stop being dramatic; I can. as long as you are not planning on crying.
12. When I am too happy for words.
Yeah, Abby gets me.
Although I will never give responses like this, unless you're a very close friend, I do think Abby Lee Miller knows what she's doing. I mean, she has her own TV show. Am I right?
