Warning: There are spoilers in this article.

Unless you've been living under a very powerful shielding rock, you probably know that the new "Star Wars" movie premiered the weekend of December 17. "Star Wars" is arguably one of the biggest movie franchises ever -- and until Thursday, December 17, I hadn't watched a single one. I have an intense fear of missing out, so I went and watched the premier of "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" with some of my friends. Earlier that day I had watched episodes "IV" and "VI." I skipped "V" because I didn't have the time. When I got to the theater, I was super excited. I could feel the Force so strong it was as if Obi-Wan Kenobi was there. I got into the auditorium, selected my seats, and waited for that monumental opening score. The confusion began almost instantly. Here are 11 thoughts I had while watching "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens."

1. I guess "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...." is a thing that happens in them all.

I just thought they might have had a nicer font in the reboot.

2. Aaand the scrolling text.

What if people can't read that fast?

3. I already miss Obi-Wan Kenobi.

May he rest in peace.

4. These Stormtroopers are nice-looking.

I'm liking the upgraded suits.

5. Wait -- those are real people inside suits?

I always thought they were just how they are.

6. This little droid thing is so cute -- it's like a dog, but a robot.

I wonder how the humans learn to understand droids.

7. It's the Millenium Falcon!

But I'm not sure why they called it garbage -- because it's the greatest ever.

8. It's Han Solo and Chewbacca!

All that's missing for me now is C3P0.

9. Wow, this Kylo Ren guy has a bit of an anger problem.

He swings his lightsaber around all the time.

10. Kylo Ren is Han Solo and Leia's son?

Wowowowowowow. I sense a reverse Vader situation.

11. No, Han Solo can't die! He's the only constant in my life so far.

Poor Chewbacca.

In the end, I understood most of what was happening in the movie -- but I definitely could have understood a lot more. I was really impressed by the female Jedi, but I was later informed that there were female Jedi's in the prequels. I am excited to watch the rest of the movies so I can find out what the Force is and how one gets it.

But until then, may the Force be with you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
