Packing for college can be a mess--literally and figuratively. While gathering all of my things to return to school this week, thought after thought filled my head as I anticipated my return to campus once more, and I'm sure all my fellow returners have thought something along the same lines.
1. I can't wait to get back on a schedule.
If you're anything like me, I function best on a schedule. My planner is color coded and only readable by crazy people.
2. Do I really want to get back on a schedule?
I love scheduling; however, I also really do love sleeping in until 10 in the morning and staying up until 3 a.m.
3. I'm going to miss being home.
Home is where the heart is, and I love the feeling of being surrounded by the ones I love...and also being lazy whenever and wherever I want.
4. On second thought, I might be returning home...
I spend the majority of my life on campus, and the home I grew up in has turned into more of a vacation. Weird how that works.
5. I can't wait to see my friends!
I miss my GCU family so much and I am really look forward to catching up with everyone!
6. I'm gonna miss my family.
When I'm not missing my GCU friends, I miss my actual family so much when I'm away! I'M CONFLICTED!
7. No more home cooked meals.
Gone are the days where mom makes spaghetti with green chile for dinner. Hello Chick Fil A and Subway for the next 8 months. There are only so many menu options before a girl gets tired.
8. I'm gonna miss my pets.
What are my dog and cat gonna do without me? HA, they probably won't even realize I'm gone to be honest.
9. No more Netflix binges.
Good thing I re-watched all of "Parks and Rec" and "Pokemon: Indigo League" while I had the chance. Good bye binges.
10. I hope there's a PokeStop on campus.
No, my Pokemon Go obsession has not yet died. Yes, I am hoping I can sit in the campus coffee shop "studying" and getting Pokeballs every five minutes.
11. How am I supposed to fit all my things in my car?!
I have accumulated way too many clothes and way too many random knick-knacks.
