11 Things That Happen When You're Best Friends With Your Roommates

College roommates are very hit or miss. Living with them is going to either be a trip through hell or a paradise vacation. If you get as lucky as I did with your college roommates, you will become best friends. You will make many exciting and fun memories and hope you will able to live with each other forever. Here are 11 things that happen when you’re best friends with your roommates.

1. You eat each other's food without even asking

2. You get very comfortable around each other and pants become optional

3. You plan to go to the gym together but stay home and watch Netflix together instead

4. You make going to the grocery store together an all-day event

Life gets busy so when you all hang out it's a big deal, even if it's just a trip to the store.

5. You have life talks until 3 in the morning

6. You attempt to help with each other’s homework and then realize you have very different majors so that’s not going to happen

7. You give each other boy advice

8. You never have to knock on each other's bedroom doors

Just walking into each other’s rooms is totally acceptable

9. You may fight over stupid things but you always make up

10. You get each other hooked on new Netflix shows

11. You make a plan to sneak a dog into your apartment and then co-parent it

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
