If you attend Stevenson University, I'm sure all of these things make you smile.

1. Walter "The Cookie Man" Schmidt

He cares about the students, and it shows. His cookies are great, too.

2. Unexpected leftover flex money


3. Walking onto an empty shuttle.

Yes! I get to pick my seat and not feel awkward when I have to ask someone to move their backpack from an empty seat!

4. When your song plays in Rockland.


5. Spending less that 10 minutes in Pandini's.

Not that I don't want to spend 45 minutes in there... I just want to go home and eat after a 10 hour class day.

6. NOT having an 8 AM on Greenspring.

Or having one... if you're into that kind of self- destructive behavior.

7. Being able to park your car pretty much anywhere on campus.

Except Owings Mills North. I'm still salty about that.

8. When the wifi doesn't act up!


9. "Class is canceled" SU Alert/e-mail.

I''m sure this goes for every school, too.


10. A fantastic hot mocha latte from Jazzman's.

Or whatever drink is your favorite.


11. Getting an awesome lottery number.

Apartments, we're coming for you.
