1. When talking to a North Jersey kid, expect a more egotistical tone from them. They’re not all polite in their manner of speech like South Jersey kids.

2. South Jersey kids tend to be neater and cleaner than those from the North. Living right next to the city can rub off on you.

3. If you have never heard of or been to the Palisades Mall than you’re probably not from North Jersey. The Palisades is a second home for those from the North.

5. If you’re from the North you might be familiar with the term going “DTS” (Down the shore), while those from the South just go to the beach.

6. Wawa might be a thing in both North and South Jersey, but all South kids know it originated by them.

7. South Jersey kids know that the show The Jersey Shore isn’t an accurate representation of it, but North Jersey kids remain clueless.

8. South Jersey kids will ask for a pork roll, egg and cheese, while North Jersey kids will ask for a taylor ham, egg and cheese.

9. Those in South Jersey see going to the City as a trip, while those from the North see it as something to do last minute.

10. If you ever met someone from Jersey who suffers from a gambling problem they’re probably from the South @AtlanticCity.

11. But something that all Jersey kids can agree on is that there are tons of awesome places in Jersey to grab a slice of pizza or a fresh bagel.
