As fall semester of my senior year is coming to an end, I can't help but think about all of the things I will miss when I graduate in May. I look at the freshmen in envy because I know they have three glorious years left, and the whole crying about 'lasts' has been going on this entire semester. Here are the 11 things that I will miss most about my college years.
1. Living in close proximity with all of my friends
Real world: Living in different states...can you Skype??
2. Naps, naps & more naps!
Real world: Work, work, & more work!
3. Skipping a class just because
Real world: Am I allowed to skip work?
4. Not giving a f**k and scrubbing it up to class
Real world: Actually having to look nice for work.
5. My body being able to hold an excessive amount of alcohol
Real world: One drink. OK, I'm drunk.
6. Making my own schedule
Real world: No longer just doing whatever.
7. Three-month summer vacations
Real world: No vacation days until like 59543784923840329 days of working.
8. The bomb drink deals
Real world: That'll be $15 for a Rum 'n' Coke.
9. Dining center life
Real world: I can cook, I would just rather someone do it for me.
10. Not worrying about student debt
Real world: But actually, only six months after graduation, you have to start paying.
11. Only thinking about the real world
Real world: It's actually happening.
Although I will miss all of these things, I know I am not in it alone because we are all facing 'Senior Denial Syndrome.' Well seniors, cheers to you, and let's live it up these next five months.
