1. You should not see your ex
Run like Forrest Gump! Do not go and see your ex. You're no longer in a relationship for reasons, so don't go back to them!
2. Don't visit your high school
If you're a freshman, that's kind of socially acceptable. If you're a sophomore, junior, or senior ... yeah, no. No one knows of you anymore and you're old. Your fellow classmates you graduated with will continue to make fun of you.
3. Don't piss off your parents
They cook for you, they give you money, and they are your life support this week. If you piss them off, your life support is gone, so stay on their good side. And do your chores!
4. Don't ignore your schoolwork
You probably thought it would be "Don't do your schoolwork," but in reality, you should get everything you can accomplish done during this week. If you leave it behind, you will struggle hard through the end of March and beyond.
5. Don't get arrested
Does there need be an explanation? You're just dumb if you get arrested, but props to you.
6. Don't mess up your sleeping schedule
Seriously, though. Continue to go to bed by 1 a.m., because if you mess your sleeping pattern up, you're done for and will literally keel over in the middle of class. And no one wants to deal with that mess or public humiliation.
7. Don't skip home-cooked meals
Savor this! The cafeteria food is horrendous, so you better eat up before you get back to school.
8. Don't get caught up on your phone
This is important. Enjoy your spring break and take everything in. Leave the drama at school and focus on rejuvenating yourself.
9. Don't spend all your money
Seriously, though, save your money. You will need it to get through those all-nighters for capstones and midterms. You're not Leo in "The Wolf of Wall Street."
10. Don't rush it
Enjoy the break. After this, it's the long stretch to graduation and four months of peace.
11. Lastly, don't say no to your friends back at home
You may have not have seen these people in a few months, or even years, but when you get together, it'll bring back some good times. And besides, after graduation, you'll need some friends to come back to when you move back in with your mom.
