It's finally time to graduate, but let's face it, after four years, there are so many things you want to do, and so many things you'd rather not. Although it might be tempting, there clearly are a few lines between you and that diploma, and they're called rules. Yes, it may be hard to decipher which ones you have to follow, and which ones are more like "guidelines." To help un-blur this confusion, here is a list of 11 things not to do in order to graduate.
1. Carrying party week activities and mind set over to dead week, or worse, finals week.
2. Skipping all your classes... and exams.
3. Finally letting your professor who thinks their class is your only class know how you really feel.
4. Creating your own personal Naked Mile.
5. Doing that one thing you always knew was against the rules.
6. Burning your books... before your final projects are due.
7. Taunting the campus police.
8. Carrying out a legally questionable senior prank.
9. Fighting your school mascot.
10. Taking a stroll through the "restricted section" of your favorite building.
11. And finally letting the administration know who's boss.
So although it may be tempting to do all things you never could before and exit the university in devious fashion, unless you want tens of thousands of dollars and all that time to go to waste, maybe you should refrain. Start instilling those adult-like responsibilities now, and let those temptations slide. Good luck, and happy graduation.
