It's finally summertime. You can almost taste the salty water and feel the sand between your feet. Peace, at last.
Just kidding, plot twist. Something told you taking a summer class was a good idea, but it's actually a tragic storm.
Here are some daily struggles that students of online summer classes feel on the daily as told by Taylor Swift:
1. Assignments are due at the most random hours of the day.
Please turn in by 2:45 pm.
2. You most likely do not know anybody in the class, so, kiss the study groups goodbye.
Hello? Can anyone help me?
3. Your heart is in a summer state but your mind is reminding you of your GPA.
It's only a few assignments, I'll just do them later.
4. Professor? Who even are you?
Lol, not.
5. Trying to cram an entire semester worth of work into 4 weeks.
The only way I'll ever be able to complete 32 assignments in a week is coffee and zero sleep.
6. The awful part of having to video yourself and then submit it over and over.
7. It's so easy to get behind since you're not actually going into class.
8. The overload of discussion boards.
I don't need to socialize and communicate with my classmates every single day on every single topic.
9. Watching all your friends have fun without you.
It's really not fair.
10. SO much money spent.
Don't you know us college students are poor? We don't have loads of money to buy extra books, software, and manipulatives.
11. Trying to find the time to do everything since you also work, have somewhat of a social life, and you have a family to adhere to.
The struggle is real.
As Taylor Swift would say, just "Shake It Off" and push through. I will all be worth it in the end!
