I am a lot of things -- stubborn being one of them. I can't confidently say that I've been stubborn my whole life, but as I've gotten older this trait has definitely come out -- some times more than others. While being stubborn is normally seen negatively, there can be some good to it, and definitely your average daily struggles.
1. Stubborn people attract stubborn people -- the chances of your significant other and even friends being stubborn, just like yourself, is extremelylikely.
2. You will never be the first to admit you're wrong, even though you most likely are and you know it. It's just not in your DNA.
3. It’s not easy for you to let things go, no matter how hard you try. This might just be the biggest struggle of all.
4. The words "I'm sorry" coming out of your mouth is like seeing a unicorn. Deep down you know you're at fault, but just can't physically form the words to say it.
5. The only time you'll ever admit that someone else is right will be filled with loads and loadsof sarcasm.
6. It may be difficult for you to accept constructive criticism because you automatically think the person is talking down to you. Just try telling yourself, it's really okay and that person is just trying to help you.
7. "You're difficult" are frequently used words to describe you. I like to think I'm just a little complex -- at least that's what I tell myself.
8. You can't stand people who think a simple "I'm sorry" or just ignoring the issue all together will fix everything. FYI, I can hold a long ass grudge -- try me.
9. You keep your thoughts or problems to yourself rather than sharing with people, whether they're close to you or not. Referring back to #6, you don't like hearing people's advice or criticism and feeling like you're being told what to do. Anyways, you always end up figuring things out on your own -- so, why not stick to what you know.
10. You're bad at asking or accepting help. You're determined to figure everything out on your own, but those rare times you actually do need help it's difficult for you to express that -- to literally anyone.
11. You hold yourself to incredibly high standards. In some cases, maybe a little too high. But on the bright side, this allows you to always get sh*t done.
