We've all been there sadly.

11 Struggles Multiplayer Gamers Know All Too Well

There comes a time where every gamer decides to go to the menu and go to multiplayer. No matter how confident you feel about your game, there is always something that will go wrong. We gamers have either struggled with all of these issues before...

1. Your mother thinks you can pause the game.

"No mom I can't pause the game," said nearly every gamer ever. This occurs when your mother needs you to do the most mundane task, that has to be completed right at that moment or it's the end of the world. No matter how many times you promise her you will get to it after the game is done, she still insists on asking you at least 100 more times.

2. The Internet is not on your side.

You are having a good time, but then your character is running into a wall and you know the exact reason why. You bolt as fast as you can to check the router and troubleshoot every possible solution you have in your arsenal, only to find that you died seven times.

3. Thinking you can believe in your (random) teammates.

Having faith in random teammates normally falls short. You try to carry your team, but you can only do so much. These are the people who go 3/24 and then say good game at the end.

4. When children get on the mic and attempt to talk trash.

You didn't say anything and yet you've just upset them. Your ears can handle only so much, but these 10 year olds insist that they are the best and will spout off any insult that they can find on Google.

5. No one notices when you do something awesome. Ever.

Finally, you are doing the absolute best you have ever done. Getting on the top of the leaderboards every game, the moment you tell your friends they don't believe you. Or you get the most epic kill cam, but you know that no one will every see that kill.

6. When the best gear takes forever to get.

You play as much as you can and all of a sudden you see someone with the best gear in the game. You want it. You need it. But let's be real, you're far from it and have a long way to go.

7. That really good player you pray is on your team.

They are a Godsend and will carry your team to victory...unless they happen to be on the other team to which you are already leaving the game. They are what you strive to be, but for some reason can never be.

8. Trolls...

Everything is going OK...or so you think. These people have no agenda except to ruin your game. You never see it coming until it is too late. If only friendly fire was always available.

9. Losing your streak.

To get your nuke is 25 kills. You've camped out all game just to get it. 23...24...YOUR SHOOTING THE LAST...oh you just died...better luck next time.

10. When you talk trash and then you get obliterated.

Karma is a cruel mistress. Your ego is flailing everywhere and you must assert your dominance. Shortly after that, you die and all the trash talk turns toward you. At this point you can't play it off and have to suffer all the consequences.

11. When time is against you.

Just one more game. It wont matter you have an hour before you need to be anywhere. Now your game has lasted over an hour and there's no way out. You hope that every moment ends the game, but for some reason it just keeps going and going and going and you find yourself ending at the two hour mark. Time to come up with your excuses now.

We as gamers always hope to avoid such situations, but the multiplayer life isn't that pleasant sometimes and wants to see us fail. Our hopes to be number one on the leaderboard is a far away dream that we can never obtain. As gamers though we won't let these bring us down, so it's time to grab some mountain dew, text your loved ones you will see them in a while, get a comfortable position, and leave this lobby because your team is already losing.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
