Most of us are extremely busy: full-time students, involved in sororities and fraternities, extracurricular activities, jobs, or whatever it may be. College seems to get that much harder by the second. When late night study sessions and stressful test schedules begin to creep up on you, life can seem pretty unfair. And as soon as life starts to get a bit easier: you finally get a solid eight hours of sleep, you aced the test, and your social life is a 10/10, of course, something goes unbelievably wrong and you're back to calling your mom from the library, crying about your mess of a life.

Well, cheer up!

Ross Geller can relate. Ross Geller is the epitome of someone who does not have their life together and still manages to get by, so maybe there is still hope for all of us.

1. When your professor actually teaches on the first day of class, and you realize it's gonna be a long semester.

While most professors start out with just reviewing the syllabus on the first day, there are a select few sent straight from hell that will be sure you walk out feeling very, very confused.

2. When you're running to catch the bus, and make eye contact with the driver, but he still leaves without you

At this point, you've accepted you'll arrive to class sweaty and late...again.

3. When your friends try to bring up the stupid stuff you did when you were drunk

We've all been there, there's no need to bring it up again (especially if texting an ex is involved.) Let's just pretend last weekend didn't happen, okay?

4. When you have to apologize to your mom for only calling to complain or ask for money

Mom's are great for listening to all your problems over and over again, and for making sure you can eat something other than old pizza, but make sure to give her some love too.

5. When you realize there is only $5 in your bank account and pay day isn't for at least another week

That's enough for happy hour, right? Looks like I'll be eating PB&J for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...again.

6. When you go out for the first time in weeks and get prove you actually own cute clothes

Finally done with exams and its time for some fun ( and maybe a drink or two), because you earned it. We'll just pretend Mondays aren't a thing right now.

7. When it's 8 AM and someone sits in the seat right next to you in class

It's early, you're cranky and in no mood to be sociable right now. Personal space, people.

8. When you have an assignment due at midnight and don't start it until 11 p.m. and immediately why you did this to yourself

Procrastination at its finest. Your common sense suddenly kicks in, and you suddenly regret every decision you have ever made up until this moment.

9. When you pull out your wallet for the next round of drinks and realize you gotta settle down

"Drinks on me!" is all fun and games, until you wake up the next morning and realize that you have no self control.

10. When you haven't seen your roommates in three days and you're not sure if they're still alive

You finally emerge out of your room just to see if they ever came home, then only to be miserable and stressed together. It's a great time.

11. When you have a mental breakdown but it's only Tuesday

Fake it till you make it, right?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
