Every red-blooded American shares the Christmas tradition that is last-minute shopping. Walking into the mall mid-December, it is clear that everyone had the same thought as you: I am so screwed. Despite the unpleasantness of last minute shopping, how can one resist procrastination?
I know I can't.
1. You feel the Christmas spirit coursing through your veins.
2. And you decide you must go shopping.
3. You enter the mall and your "Hunger Games" instincts kick in as you are engulfed by the crowd.
Oh. My. God.
4. Stress starts to consume you.
OK, this is not what I signed up for.
5. When you finally spot the sweater Grandma wants, someone else takes it.
*Attack innocent shopper*
6. The exhaustion hits you: Can I go on for much longer?
7. You decide to get something at the food court to refuel.
8. Feeling much better you decide to continue your journey, but a cute puppy distracts you.
Maybe everything will be OK, you think.
9. Then you hear something unfathomably terrible: "Attention shoppers: the mall will be closing in 30 minutes."
10. You scramble and try to buy anything in sight.
11. At closing time you realize that you actually got nothing.
Mission not accomplished.
12. Cue panic attack.
Better luck next year.
