Before actually going out, there is a sacred ritual we girls must always follow. Maybe not a ritual, but most definitely a process we complete every time. When carried out perfectly, it sets us up for the perfect night out. The following 11 stages make up what girls go through prior to actually going out.
1. Deciding to actually go out and not stay in and binge-watch Netflix.
This always becomes a struggle when "Grey's Anatomy" and "One Tree Hill" are sitting right in front of you asking for your attention.
2. Inviting all of your friends to get ready in your room.
The only thing better than getting ready, is getting ready with all of your best friends. You have twice the amount of makeup to choose from and twice the amount of the latest gossip.
3. Completing your makeup and realizing your contouring job is on point.
When your makeup is on point, your night will most likely be on point.
4. Blasting the pump-up music to get everyone in the mood.
The only proper way to get ready is with some good tunes roaring in the background.
5. Taking 30 minutes to find the perfect outfit after looking through each of your friends' wardrobes.
The best part about having all of your friends closets nearby is that they become your closets as well.
6. Deciding you don't even like the outfit you took so long to pick out so you must take another 15 minutes to find a better one.
This happens almost every time you go out. Most ironically, you always end up in the outfit you started out with.
7. If you're going to have the perfect outfit, you are going to need the perfect shoes. Let's tack on another five minutes in order to find these.
Ah shoes. These can either make or break your outfit. Choose wisely.
8. Now that you're fully ready, you must take pictures with each of your friends individually and then of course getting the group picture.
After an hour of trying to find the perfect outfit, you finally look fabulous and you need to document this with about 500 pictures.
9. Someone should probably call an Uber at this point if you guys are ever going to get to the party.
The time is getting later and later, so someone better get on this quickly if you are ever going to make a fantastic entrance.
10. The car arrives, and you all squish in to the smallest vehicle you've probably ever seen.
This happens about every time. It's time to get up close and personal with each other.
11. You finally arrive, and because you executed the stages of getting ready perfectly, you will have a perfect night.
This is the moment you've been waiting for. After everything you completed tonight, you can now finally display why you're system works.
