Coming home from college for the summer is a whirlwind. It can leave you feeling exhausted, relieved, excited, overwhelmed, and a whole lot more. It brings its own set of daily challenges and struggles that (somehow) were never present while at college...or, at least, it sure didn't seem that way when we were there. Being an adult in the summer season is hard, so here's 11 thoughts and experiences we've all had when coming home for the summer, as told by all of our friends from Friends:
1. Trying to move out all of the stuff from your dorm with no elevator:
2. Getting home and checking your finals grades:
3. When finally seeing your best friends from home makes the year's stress all worthwhile:
4. When people ask you how your bikini body is going:
5. (...And then eating yourself into food oblivion via home-cooked meals and soft serve):
6. When your parents ask you when you're getting a summer job:
7. And getting massive farmer's tan in the least convenient places:
8. But you're finally able to catch up on all the sleep you missed at school:
9. And you're finally able to Netflix-binge your fav shows:
10. But you realize you'll have to go back to school soon enough...
11. And, at the end of every summer, when your parents ask why you didn't do more:
Happy Summer.
