Confused about the title? Don’t be, folks. Even though the turkey hasn’t quite reached the table, and the Christmas tunes are yet to be heard, we have something on the horizon that will be here before you know it. And what might that be?

Spring Break.

As a lover of all things travel, lifestyle, and leisure, I thought I’d give my college readers an inside scoop on hot deals they won’t want to miss. Looking for adventure, relaxation, or even both? Look no further. Browse through my 11 favorite options for a spring break that you’ll never forget. You’ll thank me for the recommendations… and so will your wallet.

Whether you’re needing some information to plan an incredible (yet affordable) trip, or you’ve got plans with your TV and couch at home… Check it out! It’s always fun to be dreaming of somewhere better than your university library… Am I right?

1. Celebrity Constellation Cruise

What’s better than a trip at sea? Check out Celebrity Cruise Lines for a spring break of a lifetime. For all-inclusive packages with beverage and meal services, the cruise life can’t be beat. Check out the Western Caribbean Cruise, beginning in Fort Lauderdale, heading all the way to Cozumel, Mexico.

2. Paradise Island, Bahamas

This may be one of the pricier options, but it's definitely worth it. Starting around $238 a night, Riu Palace of Paradise Island is a beautiful waterfront hotel that includes spa services, on-site snorkeling, and a poolside bar, along with five restaurants and three other bars. I mean just look at the name people… Paradise Island?! Count me in.

3. Copper, Colorado

Not in the mood for a sunburn and sand in your pants?! Take a trip out west for an adventurous spring break for the books. Flying down a mountain with one worry in mind: Where will the next cup of hot chocolate come from? That sounds heavenly to me. Check out Alpine Inn, only 15 minutes from Copper Mountain Ski Resort, and under $150 a night. What a great deal!

4. Ochos Rios, Jamaica

Now this is paradise. Jamaican-me-crazy for an unbelievable spring break in Ochos Rios, Jamaica. Grab a group of 8 to 10 of your closest friends, and plan for a stay at Condos at the Ridge. Starting at $127 per night, these condos have it all: a 10 minute drive to Turtle Beach, beautiful gardens, outdoor pool, and all-inclusive breakfast! Did someone say breakfast?! I’m in.

5. Captiva Island, Florida

Captiva Island is the perfect tropical getaway for a relaxing, yet adventure-filled spring break. Check out this waterfront hotel, Manatee Bay Inn, for a cozy, island bungalow. Each guestroom comes with a service kitchen, along with a beautiful view of the bay. With nearby kayaking, and some of the best restaurants on the island close by, this one is a no-brainer! Starting a little pricier at $275, but absolutely worth the extra bucks.

6. New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans: Guaranteed a good time, no matter what. During the day, check out various historical sights throughout the city, and by night: Bourbon Street. A great balance between adventure and fun, a trip to New Orleans is the best of both worlds. For an affordable, yet wonderful place to stay: Check out the Prytania Park Hotel, known for its historical aspects, as well as it’s close proximity to Bourbon Street: It’s an absolute must. Did I mention $122 a night? Yes.

7. Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

I think these pictures speak for themselves. And who doesn’t want a spring break trip to Mexico?! The Bungalows Hotel is less than 1.5 miles from the beach, has a beautiful outdoor pool, and the bungalow feel makes you feel like Tarzan himself. Starting at $170 a night, this amazing trip is a spring break of a lifetime.

8. San Diego, California

Looking for a great hotel with prime location in San Diego? Check out the Sommerset Suite Hotel. At a decent price of $131 a night, with only a ten minute drive to the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park. Rent Segways, tour the city, and enjoy the beautiful state of California with a trip to San Diego.

9. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Under half a mile from the beach, the Villa Garden View is the perfect stay for a paradise getaway. Looking for a fun, but relaxing SB? Punta Cana is the trip for you. Starting at $250 a night, splitting the cost among friends for these beautiful condos is the way to go. Three restaurants and two beach bars?! Absolutely!

More of the outdoorsy type? Look into a trip to Sedona, Arizona. Check out The Orchards Inn of Sedona…On the pricier side of $257 a night, but absolutely worth it. When the heat and hiking gets a little too much, take a dip in the outdoor pool, and afterwards swing by Taos Cantina for a delicious meal.
