I'm pretty sure there isn't anything more annoying than having to follow directions (in my opinion at least). We're taught that there is a process to everything and deviance from those processes can only cause problems. But I think that the irregularities are what teach us the most. Just ask my AP biology lab group.
This is the three of us -- obviously star students.

If you can see yourself in any of the following situations, you're probably downright horrible at following directions.
1. You get distracted way too easily.

2. You need the teacher to privately read you the instructions.

3. Because you were too busy sleeping to pay attention the first time.

4. Your lab becomes an art project instead of something actually educational.

5. Or aesthetically pleasing profanity.

6. You forget to do the homework so you do it as fast as possible while the teacher's checking everyone else's.

7. You literally break everything.

8. So its always necessary to have double the protection.

9. The experimental results are always a little off.

10. You never seem to be facing the right direction because #selfies are top priority.

11. You bond with those who are also really bad at following directions.
