They answer a fan question? You saw it. A new manuscript? Yes. You are there for every update.

2. Gift cards to bookstores? Yes, please!

Books are not always cheap, especially hardbacks. These are the ultimate gifts for us.

3. Your pages are not meant to be "dog-eared"

This book was made to be cherished and preserved. Anything can be a bookmark. ANYTHING. Don't injure our literature.

4. A book has affected you somehow

Books help us escape, but they are also influential to a degree. Maybe we adapt parts of our personality or learn something about life; there's a lot that can happen.

5. Book announcements are life

NEW BOOK? Yes, we seem a little insane, but this is someone we love, and the idea of a new book can be amazing.

6. When you find the book instore or online

In your hand or on a tablet, it just feels right.

7. When hardbacks are worth it

Is the cover beautiful? Oh, yes. But getting a hardback is a special occasion. Sometimes going the extra mile is worth it. Who said books weren't a workout?

8. And discounts are even better

Ever heard of thriftbooks.com? This place is perfect for different types books at affordable prices.

9. You're always traveling with books

No matter where we go, there are books there. On a device or in my bag, weighing on my shoulder, they are there.

10. Your fandoms are like home

Ah, fandoms. A whole group of individuals who love the same author or content, and can understand your thoughts. It is amazing.

11. And no one injures your book, no one

Book lending is stressful. Will the book come back with stains or rips? Do they dog-ear it? Will they lose it? This process takes trust. There will be hell to pay if so.
