11 Signs You're The B*tch In The Friend Group
Mean Girls

I know you're thinking of someone- and you'll probably call them out after you read this and they'll probably respond with leaving the group chat or cussing you out. YIKES...sorry girl.

Let me first point out that I am in fact the bitch of my friend group—It's been a few years since I've known them and I think they'd be more than happy to vouch for me. So who else would be best for writing this?

1. You are the one who constantly calls people out for their mistakes.

Every girl says they want a real friend, not a fake friend right? So why is it such a problem to admit when one of your girls took a stumble? Like sending their boytoy a Snapchat of themselves with another boy? I'll never get the way girls think!!

2. People would probably rather say nothing at all than to say NO to you..

You are the epitome of a child when it comes to being told "NO!" You will 110% not think twice about starting out an all time BRAWL when something doesn't go your way. And when it comes to being ignored...your friends better RUN!

3. You're CONSTANTLY apologizing for your behavior...

"Guys I'm really sorry about the way I acted—It's just (insert new boy of the week here) and I have been fighting a lot lately and I'm just really really stressed out. I love you guys so much"...Sound familiar? Things just get to you, you know? It's totally not your fault you're just really stressed out and...these cramps have been KILLING you lately!!

4. Your camera roll is probably filled with screenshots of what your other friends wear/do that you've probably sent to another friend.

CAUGHT YA! Stop snickering at your phone and listen up. I do it, you do and I guarantee your friends probably do it to you. You're constantly snickering a the things your friends wear or say on social media PRAYING that your BFF thinks the same thing.

5. You literally cannot hold your tongue—you HAVE to comment on everything.

Did you really have to comment on the fact that you girls would rather go to the movies sober? Well, of course you do! What's a group chat without the chat? You're always adding your two sense whether it's relevant or totally out of line...oops.

6. Your standards better be everyone else's standards!

"YOU HOOKED UP WITH WHO? BUT HE'S TOTALLY NOT YOUR TASTE"...hmm, are you sure you're talking about your BFF's standards or... yours? You literally don't get whhhy your friends are always stooping so low!

7. Listening to your friends' advice is such a no-no.

Honestly, who do your friends think they are? Dr. Phil!!? No one knows best beside you. So why are they always adding their input than not understanding why?

8. Your friends are always coming to you when it comes to advice on serious things.

Your tough-love acts only work one on one. Literally, everyone moans and complains when you're adding on something not worth your bitch-ness. But when it comes to potential boyfriend advice or advice on how to deal with other bitches you're the first one they text.

9. Your sense of humor is only funny to you

No girl, it's totally not funny to tell your friend you "don't care that they are alive" just because your favorite sports team isn't theirs. TOTALLY "uncalled for" but WHY did she feel it was ok to give her own opinion??

10. You're constantly leaving the group chat and then being asked to be put back in...

Why didn't they add you back? I mean you don't deserve this at all... it's SOO not fair. You only asked to get added back in so you can bitch all of them out for not adding you back in as soon as you left!!!

11. But hey, bitch looks good on you

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
