11 Shows To Binge Watch On Netflix To Bring Back Your Childhood

Sometimes, life can get overwhelming and you wish you could turn back the clock to those Saturday mornings of watching cartoons and playing Duck Duck Goose in your backyard with the other neighborhood kids. Unfortunately, time travel has yet to be invented. One thing you can do though is go on the Netflix Kids section and watch those shows that bring back all the childhood nostalgia. Here are my best suggestions to bring those times back!

1. The Magic School Bus

Ms. Frizzle and her students going on a different scientific adventure will be sure to remind you of those good old days in elementary school!

2. Bill Nye The Science Guy

Nothing like Bill Nye to bring you back to those days in middle school science class. He was possibly the best teacher most of us had.

3. Powerpuff Girls

After school or on the weekends, everyone (girls and boys) would tune to Cartoon Network to catch Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup dedicate their lives to fighting crime and the forces of evil!

4. Scooby Doo! Mystery Incorporated

The best part about watching any Scooby Doo episode was attempting to figure out who the bad guy under that mask was and hoping those "meddling kids" would get to the bottom of it.

5. Phineas and Ferb

This show is a lot newer to the realm of TV than what would be expected to bring nostalgia. However, Phineas and Ferb's child-like imaginations and their will to complete anything will bring you back to your days of imagination and just bring back the overall child inside of you.

6. Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars

Now, I know what you're thinking and yes, this is a movie. But if this movie doesn't scream childhood nostalgia, I don't know what does.

7. Bob Ross's Beauty is Everywhere

Bob Ross always had the best advice about making mistakes, feeling happy and just being who you are. Netflix gave us all a true gift by bringing this to their library.

8. Dragon Tales

Dragon Land is the epitome of childhood. We all wished with all our hearts to fly with dragons in a land apart. I'll admit, sometimes I still do.

9. Clifford The Big Red Dog

The relationship between Emily Elizabeth and Clifford was one to be sought after. They loved each other so much that no one could come between them! Who doesn't want to relive that?

10. One of the million adaptations of the Power Rangers

These guys were the heroes of television. Everyone wanted to be one and fight crime like them! Over the years, more evolutions of the show have been made and they have all been pretty stellar!

11. Any of the Three Spy Kids Movies

Ah, the Cortez family. The typical, crime-fighting, American spy family. Again, not a TV series but who cares? We were able to watch them grow up and become closer. This was the first movie trilogy for a lot of us before Twilight and Hunger Games came to be.

Whenever the stress of school gets to be too much for you, just find one of these on Netflix and remember the good old days.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
