As embarrassing as it is to admit, I love “The Bachelor.” Every Monday night you can find me curled up on my couch, deeply invested in a stranger’s love life that is completely unrealistic and staged for television. Let’s be honest, if any man was actually dating 25 women at once, we would all hate him; yet for some reason, I, along with 10 million other viewers can’t stop watching. Despite the countless failed proposals and false expectations of love, here are 11 reasons why we can’t get enough of “The Bachelor."

1. It's a great excuse to get together with your girlfriends.

2. We’re promised “the most dramatic season yet” every season...

3. Seeing the craziness of some girls makes us realize that we’re not so crazy after all.

4. The outfits, trips, and dates with a beautiful man make us strongly consider signing up for next season.

5. There's also a new meaning behind #ManCandyMonday.

6. You begin rooting for a favorite to win from day one.

7. And if she gets kicked off before the finale you feel as though you've just gotten broke up with.

8. The 25 contestants have become your new best friends after watching them for the past 12 weeks

9. You're hopeful that maybe this time the couple will actually stay together after the finale.

10. We all want a little romance in our lives.

11. How else would we spend our Monday nights?

So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
