Unpopular opinion: Subway is so much better than Jimmy John's. I will always pick Subway over Jimmy John's if I have the choice and here's why.

1. The name

Sub is literally in the name of Subway. It makes so much more sense and you definitely know what they're serving.

2. There's more of them.

Subway is in every city, and on every corner, it seems like.

3. Cheap.

Jimmy John's is more expensive than Subway. They have 8-inch subs for around $6 while Subway has foot long subs for $6 and sometimes less.

4. Create your own sub

Subway lets you make your own sub, which is nice when you're picky (like me).

5. Toasted

You get the option to toast your sandwiches at Subway, not at Jimmy John's.

6. More toppings

Subway has so much extra stuff you can add to your sandwich, including pickles.

7. Subway's cookies >

They're sooo good.

8. More bread options

You can get creative at Subway with all the different types of bread you can use for your sandwich. Jimmy John's only has two bread types...

9. Breakfast

Subway has great breakfast. 10/10 would recommend.

10. Better variety

You have your simple sandwiches like the black forest ham but then you also have sandwiches like the meatball marinara melt.

11. Fresher

Everything at Subway — meats, cheese, bread, toppings, etc. — seems so much fresher and more delicious to eat.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
