11 Reasons Why Dogs Make The Best Of Friends

Dogs just make better friends than humans. For a countless amount of reasons. They are basically humans that are just furry and lick your face. You fall in love with them from day one, and from then on, you simply cannot imagine your life without them.

1. They will cuddle you at any time of the day on any given day (literally).

2. They are the most loyal beings in the universe and are willing to go the extra mile to make you happy.

3. You are always guaranteed to be greeted with a smiling face, even on your worst days.

4. They know when you're sad and know exactly what to do about it.

5. They are the most reliable sidekick in almost every situation.

6. They manage to break your heart and make you cry tears of laughter all within the same minute.

7. They are better to hang out with than your friends because they will do whatever you want to do every time.

8). They get a long with everyone in the family and are great with kids.

9. It is a guarantee to get greeted at the door with an overwhelming burst of excitement as if they haven't seen you in 12 years, making you feel like you are the most important person in the entire world.

10. No matter how wet and slimy, their kisses beat out any human's.

11. You are their world. You are all they see and know. Even though you get mad at them sometimes, they will forgive you for yelling everytime and love you endlessly through it all. At the end of the day, you really couldn't ask for a better best friend.

I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
