Once you start Grey's you are hooked. It's like you are binge eating but instead you are binge watching all 12 seasons. You are so addicted you put it before studying for grad school and refuse to go anywhere or do anything. You know you should be studying for a test but you just had one so now you have to reward yourself with an episode of Grey's, or you had a hard week so you spend your Friday night watching it. It is a bad habit to break so lets hope the writers never end the show, because if they do that means your going to have to build a relationship with a new show. If you have not started watching Grey's yet, it is time to wash your hands and scrub in because your missing out.
1. College students feel like they are educating themselves with big terms in medicine.
2. EVERY girl wants their own McDreamy.
3. We want to believe in grad school or during our internship we will have our own "Grey's Anatomy."
4. We like to believe after watching it 24/7 that we can perform surgery. Craniotomy? Amputation? Heart Surgery?
5. Anxiety and Stress for our grades has taken over our life just like Meredith constantly thinking about Derek did.
6. When we study for weeks or even 12 hours straight. and you get the test back and did not do as well as you wanted too. YOU EVEN STUDIED AND WERE AS PREPARED AS YOU THOUGHT YOU COULD BE.
7. About every ten episodes we cry because we act as if our best friend just died. Example..when Derek Shepherd died. (I literally had to get ice-cream to cheer myself up)
8. When we find other students or people that we just met that watch "Grey's Anatomy" you feel like you have a close relationship already.
9. We have all learned what to do in the emergency room if someone is crashing. "Push one of Epi" "Charge the paddles to 200!"
10. We act like we've been married for years when a relationship ends and seeing that it happened to Meredith too reassures you, your not the only one out there who has been hurt.
11. We have built a relationship with every character but at the end of the day college students can relate most to interns. We are studying 24/7, running on no sleep, and get concerned when your friend your competing with does better than you on a test. (It feels like they get to scrub in instead of you and your missing out on SURGERY)
