Since his first album release in 2009, Bieber has put out an incredible amount of hits for his Belieber’s to jam out to. From his big first hit “One Time”, to his record breaking single “Love Yourself, it’s hard to decide which of Bieber’s songs are his overall best. While taking his vocals, beats, and lyrics into consideration, here are what I believe to be Bieber’s top 11 songs ever (in no particular order).

1. "Flatline” from Journals

I believe this is Justin’s most underrated song ever. It’s a bonus track off of his 2013 project called Journals. Not many people are familiar with this song but it’s one of his best ever. His most impressive quality in this song is his falsettos. Not only that, but his lyrics to this song are very honest and brings out a side of him the public isn’t used to seeing.

2. “Pray” from Under The Mistletoe

Justin first introduced this song to the world at the 2010 American Music Awards. The internet blew up after his incredibly passionate performance. Although it didn’t become a radio hit, it gained a lot of love from his close fans. The lyrics are meaningful, the instruments and music are fitting, and Justin’s vocals are spot on. It’s an overall really fantastic and underrated song.

3. “Hit The Ground” from Purpose

Being that this song was only put on the Japanese album, it’s understandable that most people don’t know this song at all. Justin’s closest fans became familiar with this song when Purpose was leaked right before the album’s set release date in November 2015. “Hit The Ground” follows up Justin’s recent usage of dance-like beats. It has a really sick drop and is addicting after you listen to it for the first time.

4. “Catching Feelings” from Believe

If you listen to this song hard and long enough, it almost sounds as if Bieber is singing each and every word directly to you through your speaker. It has a really laid back beat with acoustic strings and it mixes very well with Bieber’s voice. His voice is soothing on this track and it definitely deserves more recognition. Bieber rarely performs this song acoustically, but when he does, it’s incredible. I strongly suggest looking up the video of him singing this song for BBC Radio 1 in 2013!

5. "Thought Of You” from Believe

To date, Bieber has never once performed this song live and I’ll never understand why. "Thought Of You" is one of my all time favorite Bieber songs. It’s a very up tempo song and Bieber’s vocals on this song are insane. If I had to guess, he probably doesn’t perform this song live because it’s so hard on his voice. When Believe first came out, this was the song I could not stop playing over and over again.

6. "Hold Tight” from Journals

This song is a bit more popular and it has every reason to be. This Bieber song is one of the first times the public saw Bieber stray away from his young teenage self and reveal his more mature, older side. With some seductive lyrics and crazy high notes, it’s understandable why his fans grew to really love this song. Bieber now performs this hit every night at his 2016 Purpose World Tour.

7. "Memphis” from Journals

I’ve just always been obsessed with this song since Journals was released. It’s extremely catchy and shows off Justin’s more mature, deep voice. It also is one of three hits that Justin shares with Big Sean. The two always make catchy hits and have proven to be a great duo. It’s just overall a really great song to jam out to.

8. “Been You” from Purpose

From the moment I first heard this song it automatically reminded me of “Thought Of You” off of Believe. It’s yet again another up tempo song that shows off Justin’s amazing vocals. I also couldn’t stop listening to this song when Purpose first came out. It’s now one of my all time favorite Justin songs and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Justin also performs this song live on his 2016 Purpose World Tour and I was lucky enough to see his perform it live!

9. “Home To Mama” single featuring Cody Simpson

Justin and Cody Simpson randomly dropped this song in 2015 and it automatically received a lot of love from both fan bases. It’s a very soft acoustic tune, starting off with Cody, bringing in Justin in the second verse, and combining the two voices at the end. Justin now performs this song commonly when he does acoustic sets. It’s definitely a jam that I love listening to.

10. “Love Yourself” from Purpose

Despite being Bieber’s most popular song to date and being the complete opposite of underrated, I still had to include this on my list. The sole reason as to why I picked this song is because it’s the first time Justin really changed up his sound acoustically. Most acoustic songs of his is him showing off his high vocals and is kind of all over the place. With “Love Yourself”, Justin is consistent throughout the entire song and really shows a side of himself as an artist that nobody had ever seen. There’s no surprise as to why this is now one of the most known songs in the world.

11. “Right Here” from Believe

In 2016 there was a lot of hype for Justin to collab with Drake. A lot of people were upset when Purpose didn’t have a track with Justin and Drake on it. However, people like myself and other avid Bieber fans weren’t that upset over the news because we’ve had a Bieber and Drake collab since 2012. “Right Here” is a perfect mix between Justin and Drake’s voices. If this song was talked about more, I think a whole lot of people would enjoy it.

Hopefully there are many more hits and jams to come from Mr. Bieber!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
