Sometimes, life gets you down and you just need to grab a snack and binge watch some TV shows. As of October 23rd, 2017, here are eleven shows to help you unwind and lift your spirits.

1. Parks and Recreation

This is currently my favorite show, and it's perfect to binge. Everyone I know who has watched Parks and Rec has loved it. With a huge cast of characters, endless jokes, and hilariously awkward situations, there is something for everyone.

2. America's Funniest Home Videos

There are a few different versions of AFV on Netflix, all guaranteed to make you laugh. While the full series isn't on there, it's enough to get you in better spirits.

3. Bill Nye the Science Guy

Relieve your childhood and learn something along the way! No matter how upset you feel, hearing "Bill! Bill! Bill! Bill!" will get you hyped.

4. Bob Ross

Like AFV, there are a few different Bob Ross episodes. If relaxation is what you're looking for, he's the perfect man to watch. How can you be sad while listening to his soothing voice and endless optimism?

5. Friends

An absolute classic, it's no wonder that everyone freaked out when Netflix finally decided to add it. It has held up for a reason.

6. Futurama

While this show does have deeper messages, on the surface it's simply a great cartoon that draws you in with colorful animation, unique storylines, and witty pop culture references.

7. Mystery Science Theater 3000

If you're fascinated by older, B (and below) level films, then MST3K is right for you. The films themselves are bad enough to make you laugh, but the commentary from the characters is what makes this so good. Bonus: MST3K: The Return, is great too.

8. New Girl

It's nearly impossible to resist Jess and the boy's charm, and get invested in their strange yet lovable relationships with each other.

9. Ouran High School Host Club

I'm not really into anime, but I love this one. It's absurd, and worth paying attention to the subtitles for.

10. Phineas and Ferb

Another blast from the past. The brother's adventures are still fun to watch today even if it's to make fun of how crazy they are.

11. That 70's Show

Your regular teenage antics with a groovy setting. Easy to get lost in and unwind to.

Hopefully these shows will help you go from this...

to this!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
