So everyone goes on and on about the movies that are at the theater. Those can be expensive unless you live close to a movie theater that doesn't charge $15 a bucket of popcorn. I decided to compile a list of movies you can either watch alone or with friends and all these movies are out on DVD.

1. Patriot's Day (2016)

Okay, I will tell you this right now, I love Mark Wahlberg. I love most of his movies and I am a complete sucker for him but all of that aside, this movie is brilliant. This movie details the events of the Boston bombing. It is suspenseful, will leave in tears and on the edge of your seat. I cannot recommend this movie enough if you want a movie that immerses you.

2. Captain America: Civil War (2016)

I know probably most people have seen this movie, but I cannot bring myself to leave it off this list. I love Marvel movies to death and this one is no different. I saw it immediately after I came home from my freshman year. This is a good one to watch with friends or even by yourself if you're a superhero mood. Plus, Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie are bae.

3. Jurassic World (2015)

I will tell you a secret: I saw this movie more than once in the theaters. How many times you ask? About four times. I went three separate times with three different friends then I went by myself. That's how good this movie is. I am a complete sucker for Chris Pratt and dinosaurs. This movie is so great, I cannot recommend it any more than I already have. I love it so much.

4. Chef (2014)

My mom, my sister, and I watched this movie together. This movie is so hilarious. It's a hidden gem, I did not pay any attention to this movie until my mom found it on Netflix. It's a family friendly movie that I enjoyed. I highly recommend that you watch this movie.

5. Fast & Furious Series (2001-present)

The Fast and The Furious series is one my favorite series ever. I have watched every movie in this series at least three times. My favorite in this series is the "Fast Five" as shown above. This is the movie that introduces Dwayne Johnson's character and I love the Rock so much. This movie is just so action packed, I love it.

6. Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

Oh wow, another Chris Pratt movie, shocker right? Aside from the fact that I love Chris Pratt, this movie is perfect. I love Gamora so much and also Groot. I love almost every character in this movie. This movie is a perfect movie to sit back and enjoy with friends. Just don't remind me this came out 3 years ago, it seems like it was last summer.

7. Kevin Hart: What Now? (2016)

Here's another fact about me: I love Kevin Hart. He is my favorite comedian, hands down. He's so funny in this standup that I cried tears. I watched this in the dorm with some of my friends and we were all dying of laughter.

8. Gridiron Gang (2006)

This movie is a classic, in my terms. My sister and I watch this movie everytime it's on T.V. If you have no seen this movie, I highly recommend it. Plus, Dwayne Johnson is awesome, am I right?

9. 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

This movie is amazing. It's a romance with the perfect amount of sass and strong female characters. I love Kat, the main character. I think this is a perfect movie to watch with your girl friends.

10. The Departed (2006)

Another classic of mine. This movie is amazing. It will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time and there are plot twists all around. It's amazing.

11. Spotlight (2015)

This movie will you wide eyed. It recounts the events leading up to the story published by The Boston Globe that revealed the sexual assaults in the Catholic Church. My mother and I watched it and we loved it. There's a reason why it won best picture.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
