So many trailers have come out for 2016's upcoming movies. Many of them look really great and I am looking forward to seeing them. Here are the ones that I am most looking forward to.
1. "The 5th Wave" (Release Date: January 22)
This movie is about the 5 waves of an alien attack on the Earth. Chloë Grace Moretz plays the main female character, who tries to save her younger brother. The movie trailer is quite captivating and seems action packed.
2. "Deadpool" (Release Date: February 12)
Ryan Reynolds is the main character: Wade Wilson, aka Deadpool. Superhero movies are always so much fun to watch because the action is crazy and the plot shows you how they came to be. I am really looking forward to seeing this one.
3. "Gods of Egypt" (Release Date: February 26)
This movie is about a war between gods in Egypt. One young boy and a god make it a point to save Egypt from the antagonist, portrayed by Gerard Butler.
4. "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" (Release Date: March 18)
This is the last movie in the "Divergent" series, with Shailene Woodley and Theo James as the two leading characters. This movie looks great and it seems like it will be the ultimate finish to the series.
5. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" (Release Date: March 25)
This rival movie will be between two of the most well known and loved superheroes. These two icons and idols go head to head against each other in an epic action movie. Batman is played by Ben Affleck and Superman is played by Henry Cavill.
6. "Captain America: Civil War" (Release Date: May 6)
This movie is the third in the "Captain America" franchise with Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America. Much more of Bucky/Winter Soldier is seen in this movie as the Captain puts his life on the line for him.
7. "X-Men: Apocalypse" (Release Date: May 27)
This movie is about the god named Apocalypse who has existed since the dawn of civilization. Some of the actors and actresses in this movie include Jennifer Lawrence, Evan Peters, Michael Fassbender, and Nicholas Hoult.
8. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (Release Date: June 3r)
I found the first movie to be hysterical and extremely action packed, so I hope that the second one fits the expectations that I have for it. The turtles are voiced by Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Johnny Knoxville, and Jeremy Howard. The cast is also joined by Stephen Amell in this movie.
9. "Suicide Squad" (Release Date: August 5)
This movie is one that many people are looking forward to because of the characters that the plot of the movie surrounds. It's also mainly because Jared Leto plays a scary good version of the Joker.
10. "Gambit" (Release Date: October 7)
Although a trailer has not been released yet, a superhero movie with Channing Tatum as the lead male is bound to be a good one.
11. Doctor Strange (Release Date: November 4th)
This is, yet again, another superhero movie because those are my
favorites. Benedict Cumberbatch is taking on the role of
Doctor Stephen Strange and I think thathe will do a great job with this.
