Whether you're in a long-term relationship or in the "getting to know you phase", simple gestures and quality bonding are a must-do to really put some spice into your relationship. You never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. So to get a jump start on your seasonal planning, here are 11 ideas to help your love life Fall into the Autumn season. Grab your coats and your pumpkin spice because here are 11 ideas to make you say I love you a latte.

11. BYOB Painting Class

Art is fun and all but I mean, who wouldn't turn down an opportunity to make it extra fun? A BYOB painting class is classy, shows off your talent, has you LEARNING, makes you loosen up a bit... and gives you something to keep-a souvenir!

10. Exercise and Training

Fall is the perfect time to exercise with your partner. It's not too cold, not too hot...so no worries about those gross, sweaty days! What's even better is if you and your boo make it a routine and possibly train for a big event. This will give you something to talk about and have something to look forward to.

9. Hot Air Balloon Ride

Who's afraid of heights? Not me! Even if you are, a hot air balloon ride is pretty much a once in a life time experience and to make it extra special, do it with someone that you would love to be with! Very peaceful and relaxing! What better way to see our beautiful world from the highest view?

8. Home-cooked meal

As summer is ending and fall is approaching, time is ticking that you can go outside and use a grill this year. Take advantage of this and buy some healthy food to cook with you and your partner. Not only are you enjoying each other's company, but this is a very inexpensive way to have some fun in your own house. Enjoy the little things!

7. Camping

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! Camping is a great way to get in Fall spirit. It's a unique date too and a good team building activity. Who doesn't like s'mores? Hint hint, this is an opportunity to not be on your phone and just enjoy the nature with your companion.

6. Scary Movie Night

News flash! What do you do when you're scared? You want to get closer to someone ! Take advantage of this and suck it up and go see the scariest movies in theaters. I promise you won't regret it. Great opportunity for after-math cuddle time!

5. Apple Orchard

Apple orchards are a great way to get in the Fall spirit. Have a peaceful stroll in an apple orchard and pick out some delicious crispy apples. You not only can enjoy picking the apples on the first date, but you can make a second date out of this by using the apples to schedule a baking date. Caramel apples, apple pie and apple crisp are really yummy desserts!

4. Haunted Attraction

Whether it be a haunted hayride, haunted house, haunted cornfield, asylum...haunted attractions are a once- a -year thing! This will get you in the Halloween spirit and give you something to laugh at. This is a great opportunity for double dates too!

3. Oktoberfest

If you are of age to drink, Oktoberfest is a worldly celebrated event. This is a great experience if you want to socialize on your date and people watch. Lots of activities and new food/drinks to try.

2. Pumpkin Patch

Pumpkin patches are really fun and a really cheap date too! Most pumpkin patches have hay ride adventures and a lodge to get sweet treats/warm cider. You can always carve the pumpkins and make jack-o-lanterns when you get home!

1. Game Day

What better way to kick off the fall season then some good ol' tailgating? Tailgating and football season are common rituals in youth culture. Even if you hate sports, this is a great time to socialize and make you feel like you're a part of something. Have some passion and energy even if it's just for a few hours. And if your team wins, this is a guarantee that the date will end on a good note! :)

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
