Hashtagging is the art of taking Hasthtags and using them to write creative and funny tweets. This is often done in a game where one person releases a Hashtag Prompt to Twitter (Example: #BirdCelebrities) and the rest of the players scramble to come up with as many creative answers as possible in a short amount of time (Example: Chris Egg-vans, Rob Crowe, Bunsen and BEAK-er.) The goal is to get as many retweets and likes as you can. It's kind of like the improv game Scene's From A Hat, except you're playing with a couple thousand other people. This has been popularized by the TV Show @midnight. Here are some struggles and triumphs that come with being a Hashtag Warrior.
1. Being on Twitter and constantly clicking the refresh button waiting for them to release the prompt.
2. When the prompt is dirty and/or something that you don't know that much about...
3. The feeling when you write for 10 minutes without anybody noticing and then get a flux of likes and retweets.
4. You know what this means....
It means you've made it!
