When I was growing up, Disney Channel huge. I remember waiting for the new movies to premiere and how excited I was to see one of my favorites replaying during the week. While I have a soft spot for all Disney Channel original movies, these are definitely at the top of my list.

Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century

Whenever I watched this movie when I was younger, I always wished I could’ve been a part of it. Who didn’t want to live in 2049 and in outer space?

Smart House

I remember this movie slightly terrifying me, but after watching it a few times, I was hooked. I wanted a house that did everything I asked of it, and also conversed with me.

Motocrossed

This is one of my all time favorite films—not just Disney. I loved the whole concept of the movie, how bad ass the characters were, and the slight romance. Every time this movie reruns on Disney Channel, I either record it or stop what I’m doing to watch it.

The Color of Friendship

Such a heartfelt movie! I always loved the message of this movie. It was one of those “feel good” Disney movies that made me tingle inside.

Halloweentown

Halloweentown and its sequels are some of the best Disney movies. Watching these movies growing up made me look forward to Halloween every single year. I wanted to live in Halloweentown and be a witch so badly!

Double Teamed

I remember this movie being one of my favorites as well. I’ve never really liked basketball, but this movie brought on so many feels.

Cadet Kelly

I think I mainly watched this movie because of Hilary Duff, but I loved it so much as a kid that I bought it once it was released. I remember watching it so many times that I had the lines memorized. Hilary Duff is completely charming in this movie!

Quints

This movie was absolutely brilliant. At the time, it never quite seemed like a Disney Channel movie, but that never bothered me. While watching this movie, I always wondered how exactly they told all those babies apart.

Eddie’s Million Dollar Cook Off

After watching this movie, I wanted to cook all the time. I kept dreaming up these crazy concoctions that I never actually got to try. It was such a fun movie.

Go Figure

I’ve always been fascinated with ice skating, and this movie made my obsession with it as a child that much stronger. Another plus? The main guy in the movie was really attractive—at least to my ten year old self!

High School Musical

HSM and all its sequels will always have a special place in my heart. This movie came out when I was in 6th grade, and it was the first time that I noticed Zac Efron. I’ve been in love with him ever since. Most people call these movies corny, but I adore them. I love musicals and dancing, and these movies captured my heart. I own all three of them, and whenever I hear the songs from the movies, I still sing along with them.

I’m a Disney lover at heart, and there are more Disney Channel Original Movies that I loved, but these are the ones that stuck out to me over the years! I only wish that Disney Channel was the same as it used to be. In this case, sometimes change isn't a good thing.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
