It’s that time of year again. Fall weather is {slowly} creeping in, every coffee shop in town is trying to perfect their fall flavors, and pumpkin spice everything is all the thrill. Fall is always the beginning to new seasonal clothing, merchandise, and treats to try! I myself have found some particularly exciting and amusing treats that I will be attempting to make that are perfect for getting into the spirit of fall, Halloween, and of course, football season! Brace yourselves for what is to come.

1. Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls

Yes. I know what you're thinking; as if cinnamon rolls weren't good enough. Where has this collab of grandma's Thanksgiving apple pie and the traditional cinnamon roll been all of our lives?

2. Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars

There has got to be, at least, 8 out of 10 people who love cheesecake. And with this fall flavor being introduced or brought back into light, I believe that cheesecake lovers like myself are bound to try making this scrumptious dessert.

3. Pumpkin Pie Nice-cream

For those non-dairy eaters out there, this ones for you. Pumpkin, creamy goodness made purely from fruit and spices to make this heavenly looking treat.

4. Apple Cider Floats
Do I have any ice-cream float fanatics out there? Um, better best believe that this will be one of the first treats on this list that I attempt making (and probably more than once).

5. Pumpkin Doughnuts
I am sure that Krispy Kreme or Dunkin' Donuts has a pumpkin flavor, after all, how couldn't they? But wouldn't you feel so much more satisfied and excited if you made them yourself? I know I would.

6. Apple Pie Monkey Bread
Growing up in a southern state allowed me to become good friends with cinnamon/sugar monkey bread. The sweet, doughy, crispy breakfast food always hits the spot. Just like I thought cinnamon rolls couldn't get any better, I didn't think monkey bread could get better either. Chunks of apple and glaze would make it all rage!

7. Pumpkin Bread w/ Brown Butter Maple Icing
I believe baked breads are also a strong southern item. Banana nut bread, friendship bread, blueberry-lemon bread; the list goes on and on. But here, people have outdone themselves once again, pumpkin flavored bread and warm maple icing to top it off with extra love.

8. Pumpkin Spice Funnel Fries
Pumpkin... spice... funnel... fries... They had me at pumpkin.

9. Caramel Apple Slices

Delicious and practical, you say? Who doesn't like that mix? And now I won't have to look horrifying trying to eat a normal sized caramel apple.

10. Glazed Pumpkin Sugar Cookies
I have a mean sweet tooth and the word sugar popped right out at me. Not only is one of my favorite cookies being transformed into a fall treat, but it is also being glazed. We all know that anything glazed is anything great.

11. Pumpkin Spice White Hot Chocolate

For all the "basic" girls out there (and I'm including myself on this one based on the subject line), here is a great mashup up pumpkin spice and hot cocoa for the cold fall/wintery days to come!

Now you may have noticed that I didn't put any recipes up, but that is strictly because these recipes can be searched and found on Pinterest or Google. The brilliant creators and providers of these recipes/ideas have greatly blessed my fall season full of new things that I want to try! Feel free to share these treat ideas with your pumpkin spice, apple pie, caramel, and chocolate loving friends and family! Happy Fall Y'all!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
