As I enter the first day of my senior year I'm not sure whether to cry, scream, smile or run. There are many emotions that are inevitable to feel on this day and throughout the whole year. A chapter of our lives is ending and many, many doors are about to open. This year is full of possibilities and opportunities that will await us after graduation. It'll be a year to remember for sure because, let's face it, we're pros and this whole college thing by now and know how to make a year count. But that doesn't mean it won't take a few tears, a couple shots of tequila and some mental breakdowns for us to get into that cap and gown come May. Here's just a taste of some of the emotions this year may bring...

1. Pure Joy

Let's live it up! The first full year of college being 21, not having fear of the freshman 15 and being confident in your major/classes (which at this point are a joke).

2. Comfort

You've had the same professor since freshman year that you call by his first name. You wave to Maria the cleaning lady everyday, Joan at 63's doesn't even need you to swipe your SHU card. Walking through campus at this point is a little like being a celebrity, you know everyone and everyone knows you.

3. Fear

Wait, it's really almost over? What am I going to do after graduation?

4. Laziness

Study? Go to the gym? No thanks, I need to rest before I go out tonight.

5. Denial

Nope, this isn't real. I'll be drinking at Red's for the rest of my life.

6. Pre-quarter life crisis

What is life with out college??

7. Anger

This is a sick joke. Who let's you live the four best years of your life and then ends it so quick? All to go into the real world and work for 40-hours a week.

8. Bargaining

Ok, Mom..maybe I'll just go to grad school for a year or two. Ya know, 'find myself'.

9. Depression

Crying with your roommates at the bar, for the third time this week.

10. Acceptance

This is really happening. We made it.

11. Freedom

Although college is as free as you feel after living with your parents all your life, there is nothing like knowing there is a whole world out there for you to explore.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
