With School starting for me in a few weeks it can definitely be a struggle to remember the key essentials that helped you get through last year. There is no worse feeling than feeling like your missing something or forgetting something. These essential items listed below were mandatory on my list after using and needing more of last year.
1. Airborne/ Emergen-C
The two most important ingredients in any college kids essentials. This will absolutely save and or help you from getting sicks when you are living in the dorms.
2. Clorox Wipes
No doubt you will need to restock on these. Especially in dorm rooms everything gets so dusty so easily. There are also so many germs in dorms you will want to wipe down everything.
3. Air Freshners
These Glade things were a life saver. They keep your room smelling so fresh and clean. Although these will do the trick sometimes you will need that extra spray so i would also invest in the spray.
4. Dry Shampoo
This is the dry shampoo i use and it works like a charm. Hack though baby powder works just as well.
5. Stain stick.
This stain stick is the best stain remover ever. You rub it on your clothes and scrub it a little and then throw it in the dryer and almost every stain comes out right away. If you say you won't stain any of your clothes your lying.
6. Extra Storage.
At college you can never have to much storage. Most dorms do not have enough room for everything you bring, and these things are definitely very handy.
7. Broom/Vacuum
A small or even handheld vacuum will come very handy. You may not realize how gross your floor gets with more than one person living in one room constantly.
8. Ramen/Easy Mac.
You may think "oh that is obvious," but seriously when you get home late or are sick it really hits the spot.
9. Microwave Safe Bowl.
When you want to make ramen or heat up food or the best make popcorn this will come in handy.
10. Water Bottle.
A water bottle is very important especially this one. Swell bottles keeps your drink cold all day which makes this one even better.
11. Command Strips.
These will hang anything and will keep from damaging any walls. These will need to be repurchased every year 100%.
