For my fellow Christians, I know that sometimes staying joyful is hard to do. Luckily, besides quiet time and prayer, there is worship music! I am a big music person in general, so listening to music on my way to class or while I'm just hanging out in my dorm is a great way to inspire my joy through the Lord.

Here are 11 songs that will get you feeling joyful every time you listen!

1. "Good Good Father" by Chris Tomlin

This song reminds us that God is so good! He will be our guardian and refuge no matter what happens to us in this world.

Key Verse: "You are perfect in all of your ways. You are perfect in all of your ways to us."

2. "So Will I (100 Billion X)" by Hillsong United

This song really reminds us that we were created by God and that His entire creation obeys Him, so we should too.

Key Verse: "If the stars were made to worship, so will I."

3. "O Come To The Altar" by Elevation Worship

This song is here for us to tell us to run to Jesus when we are hurting. He will take away our pain and forgive us for what we have done.

Key Verse: "The Father's arms are open wide."

4. "Great Are You Lord" by one sonic society

We are reminded by this song how truly amazing our Lord is. Sometimes we don't feel the true gravity of how incredible our God is.

Key Verse: "You give hope. You restore every heart that is broken."

5. "The Lion and The Lamb" by Big Daddy Weave

This song reminds us that we are not alone. God will fight for us and He will die for us, no matter how undeserving we are.

Key Verse: "Oh who can stop the Lord Almighty?"

6. "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" by Hillsong United

We must give everything up to the Lord. The possible is possible with our amazing God!

Key Verse: "You've never failed and You won't start now."

7. "It Is Well" by Bethel Music

This song is so amazing. We are able to be peaceful through the peace that Jesus gives us, no matter what is happening. It can be a terrible day and we are still able to be at rest in God.

Key Verse: "Through it all, through it all. My eyes are on You. It is well, it is well."

8. "In Christ Alone" by MercyMe

We are so unworthy of the love we receive from God, but the sacrifice of His Son shows his incredible love for us!

Key Verse: "I am His, and He is mine. Bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ."

9. "My Lighthouse" by Rend Collective

Even if we don't see God where we are, we must know that He is always there!

Key Verse: "You are the peace in my troubled sea."

10. "Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)" by Chris Tomlin

This hymn takes a beautiful twist in Chris Tomlin's version. God is the same as He always has been and He always will be! We were slaves to sin, but now we are free!

Key Verse: "My God, my Savior has ransomed me."

11. "What A Beautiful Name" by Hillsong Worship

We should remember and praise how much God has done for us and sing praises for Him! He is beautiful and perfect, and He loves us.

Key Verse: "What a beautiful name it is. Nothing compares to this. What a beautiful name it is, the name of Jesus."

Jesus is so incredible. These songs are just a few small examples of how amazing our Lord is. Listen to these and other worship songs when you are feeling low and remember how indescribably wonderful the sacrifice that God made in sending His son to us is.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
