Coffee is to caffeine addicts what honey is to Pooh bear. It brings us to life and without it, we are shells of ourselves. There are many, but here are the 11 things I think we caffeine addicts can relate to the best:
1. Walking by a coffee shop and having to get a hold of yourself after inhaling that intoxicating scent.
2. Having beautiful dreams about living in Tina's Coffee World.
3. Throwing a tantrum when you have no access to coffee.
4. Scoffing at the fact that the socially acceptable dose of coffee in the morning is one measly cup.
5. Gawking at non-addicts like they're not human.
6. Secretly plotting how to murder anyone who tries to make you do anything remotely useful pre-caffeine consumption.
7. Trying to explain to the barista the gravity of the caffeine situation during midterms.
8. Going back to aforementioned non-addicts and demanding that they stop their nonsense.
9. Begrudgingly switching to tea in hopes that it will cure you.
10. Giving up within hours because the withdrawal is just too much to bear.
11. Flipping your hair at everyone who says anything negative about coffee and then skipping away in caffeinated euphoria.
