"One Tree Hill"
This beautiful show is full of relatable characters. Their love lives, problems, drama, and friendships will leave you laughing with them, crying with them, and wishing you were a part of their clique. Each character will instill a hope within you that your life will someday be like theirs. You will be obsessed, no doubt about it.
"Gossip Girl"
Much like "One Tree Hill," you will immediately want to be a part of their clique. These uptown rich teenagers will capture your heart right from the beginning and leaving you wanting more, even after the very last episode.
"American Dad"
This is a hilarious animated show about a CIA agent and his family. They go on wacky adventures that are sure to leave you crying from laughter. Seth McFarlane has done it again with this show. You won’t be able to stop watching it once you’ve seen an episode.
"New Girl"
Another comedic show about a girl and her adventures with the three men she lives with. While this show is funny, it also teaches life lessons and allows you to really get a feeling of what it is like to be a young adult living with great friends and making fun memories.
"Family Guy"
Much like "American Dad," this show is about the hilarious family the Griffins. They have a lot of episodes, and the more you watch the more you can’t look away. It's also created by Seth McFarlan. You will be left with a stomach ache from all of the laughter you just had.
"House of Cards"
This intense drama is also incredibly informative. With great actors and an even better storyline, this show is sure to leave you wanting more. Like, I mean wanting more so much that you watch it until four in the morning even though you have to be up for your 8 a.m. class the next day. Yeah, it’s that good.
"How to Get Away With Murder"
Although only one season is on Netflix at the moment, this show will make you want to become a lawyer. The characters on this show are witty, mysterious, and mischievous. The plot will leave you drooling.
"Walking Dead"
This is literally America’s favorite show. There are even "Walking Dead" tours you can take. This show is just amazing. It covers all bases of a great show: family, problems, fixing, action, drama; you name it and "Walking Dead" has it. 10/10 would recommend.
"Parks and Recreation"
Just hilarious. It is so worth it to get into this show. It is good for the entire family and you can bond over the hilarious things that occur in Pawnee county. Not to mention the actors and actresses are award-winners all around.
"Bob’s Burgers"
Again, hilarious. This animated show is also good for the entire family. A favorite of mine and my roommate's, we watched all of the seasons in about a week. It is still running on TV, so there’s more to come and I know you’ll be watching it.
"American Horror Story"
Last but not least, if you love anything scary, this show is for you. It has great creepy plots and amazing characters. The actors stay the same throughout the season but the story changes. It is worth it to watch every season whether you like scary things or not, I promise.
